The Backstory

Visiting Thailand was a lifetime dream of mine. My mom was adopted from there in 1964, so there’s always been a deep longing to visit. Adam and I made that dream come true back in January when we finally made the trip. It was a transformative two weeks filled with incredible city walks, good food, and a sense of being connected with the ancestral roots I had always wanted to know.

After our trip in January, the rest of my family went on their trip to Thailand. While there, things took a really unexpected turn in life.
